Mogale City ( Krugersdorp) Electricity bill rip-off

<p>Me and my my husband bought a new house this year. We app**** for a prepaid meter as we do not want to owe the municipality. We were sent from pillar to post and never got the prepaid meter. In the mean time we are receiving the electricity bill. We started paying R500 for March,R700 for April, R900 for May,R1 200 for June, R2000 for July, R2500 for August, R3100 for September. We then went to the offices and complained ,we also demanded that they must give us the prepaid meter as we app**** for it. The manager said they are waiting for the suppliers. The next month which was October the bill came and it was R1700. We thought that they fixed the readings as the amount was less. The month of November we also paid R1500 as it was in the bill. Now we got the bill for December the amount due to be paid is R4300. Which is unacceptable ,and ridiculously high. We never skipped a month or payed less. We always pay on time and the right amount. The bill goes higher and higher ,and the is no meter guy coming to read the meter at our house. We just want to know how are they reading the meter. How come is the bill going up every month whereas we are hardly at home and always @ work. This is *******. We believe this is inside job and people are benefiting from this. They are just delaying to give us the prepaid meter for them to chao our money. We don't have that money to pay. They are definitely going to switch off our electricity. This is pathetic. We are going to involve our lawyer and media. We have had it with *******ion in Mogale City Krugersdorp.</p>
