Burst Water Pipe

Approximately 6 weeks ago I finally managed to speak to a Customer Services consultant after wasting nearly my entire monthly airtime. I was so irked that I completely forget to ask for a name or wait for a reference number.

I have since then sent several e-mails to the customer Services mail address, and as yet I have not revemn received an acknowledgement that they received my mails.

Ojut of pure rage and frustration I addressed a new e-mail and copied every senior counsellor whose email address could be found on te Municipal website. Still no response. This is a total lack of respecty or regard to the Tax Payer.

There is a burst municipal water pipe besides the Elandsdrift Road and about 7metres from the Hertfors Hotels signage on that roadf.

Tens ofthousands of litres of water is being wasted due to the inefficiency of the municipality. The flowing water has now found its path about 11 metres under the road and is starting to flood and cause damage to the neighbouring property.

Phoning Customer Services is a waste of time so I hlonestly do not know how I am going to bring this matter to the attention of the technical staff.

I have even left a message for the DA ward counsellor and that message too has been ignoredd.

Please help. We are buying and delivering water to those who do not have water onn tap and on the other hand thousands of litres are wasted due to total inefficiency on the Municipalities part.
