Selling a product under false pretenses

Hi

Mobius sold me a wifi router with 1GB data every month for R99 the first month came, my bill was well over R700 i asked how is this possible they explained to me that after the 1GB has expired it's a open network.

I said to the lady but i was not aware of this then she said it was mentioned in the terms and conditions, why wasn't it mentioned when they sold me the product then i would've locked it after 1GB. So i asked her why didn't you send me this terms and conditions, her answer was that i was suppose to go and read it over the web???

Nevertheless i continued paying my R99 i got a call every month my bill getting higher and higher, and I'm in arrears of 2300 and some change, i told mobius i refuse to pay something i wasn't aware off and i refuse paying more than R99.

That's against the credit act to sell a product without informing the client it's a open wifi after 1GB.

So after consecutive months of not paying the arrears my wifi was cancelled, so i stop paying, i will not pay something i never agreed to pay so stop threatening me with legal action!

I also see a few similar complaints.

You are more than welcome to contact me on **********
