I was telephonically **** to about a uncapped wifi contract.

I received the parcel on Friday the 19-07-2019 and after charging the wifi ****le for 16 hours as the agent Rasheed who initially spoke me into it. opening noticed that it was not uncapped LTE wifi I was promised by agent as the 500MB available soon got used up. I could not believe this and attempted to call the customer care on Sunday the 21-07-2019 which was obviously closed as you would know.

I then went into the two Telkom stores in Kenilworth centre Cape Town and they in turn said I have to deal directly with mobile talk as they are vendors for Telkom and that I should never do things over the phone in future.

I then called mobile talk customer care yesterday ,Monday 22-07-2019, and spoke to agent named Barnapas who said he logged the cancellation and that I will receive a call with respect to collection and cancellation details. Barnapas reassured me that they will collect devices which includes the 2 sim cards the wifi ****le and the Samsung A2 which I never even opened. He also said that there shouldnt be any issues as I am still within the 10 day cooling off period.

I recieved a response from Joana Pillay from mobitalk on Jul 25th to say "Please be advised that we do not debit you for the order Huawei E5577 + Free SIM & Connection on SmartInternet - 1GB @ R99 x 24 Months// + Samsung Galaxy A2 Core Black + Free SIM & Connection on FreeMe 1GB TopUp + 1GB Telkom Data X 3 Months @ R139 x 24 Months Kindly will be advised that Telkom processes all debits. Kindly be advised that a request will be sent to Telkom to cease the line once your orders have been brought back to our warehouse and cancelled on the system."

But yet I was still debited on the 15th of August I then went into the bank to stop the payment.

I then got another debit go off on the 21st of August which bounced as I had insufficient funds causing my bank to now charge me for something I never agreed too.

This is unacceptable.
