Telkom's service is shoddy even when signing up

I don't understand why I have to bed Telkom to sign me up. I placed an online order for Telkom's October deal on 11 Oct. My application was acknowledged on same day with promise to revert within 48 hrs. It's 7 days later and a few inquiries on order status and nothing from Telkom. Their social media works on postal mail pace or worse dobt respond. When I call I get transferred or my calls are dropped. I hope my order wont get processed because if they do, the 24 months contracr is going to feel like hell. Even home affairs operates better than this these days
