Telkom wants to be paid for a contract I didnt renew after it expired

I took out a contract with Telkom for wifi the contacted was expiring in June and I advised telkom ,I'm not renewing via their websites and also their agents tried to contact me to renew it which I declined and I never received the data thereafter. Surprisingly I've been receiving calls that I've been handed over to a collection company as I owe them over R1000 but never did they once contact me to advise of this,if I was truly owing them. I'm shocked and disgusted by their way of doing business. Currently I'm using telkom prepaid and to be honest I'm going back to MTN as i have 3 contracts with them and have been with them for over 20years but never once have they given me such horrific service like telkom. You have my details but you never called me or send me emails if at any point you thought i was in arrears, 5 months later after i decided to not renew or upgrade the contract you come up with ways to **** me. You need to contact me directly regarding this absurd **** of yours as this is not the way to ensure client loyalty,never again. Now it makes sense why your rates are cheap, because you **** people who don't want to renew their contracts with you, thought those kind of ****s were long gone after the CPA.
