Telkom Sucks

Having a contract with Telkom for 4 YEARS was a pleasant experience ,enjoyed real value for money.4 years later the complete opposite has happened,I decided not to upgrade as I have retired and no longer have a affordable income. Currently I am on a sim only month to month contract ,I get 3000 telkom to telkom minutes ,2000 MB whattsapp data , 50 daily smss and 500 MB all network data which is no longer available on new contracts. What Telkom is doing since my 2 year contract expired , they now use up my purchased airtime for telkom to telkom calls and not the 3000 mins my month to month contract provides, also they use up my purchased data for my whattsapp messenger instead of the 2000 MB my contract provides. Telkom also uses my all network 500 MB first and then my Data purchased which is only valid for 30 days, because of this my purchased data that is still left over at the expiry date is lost, sometimes up to 2 Gigs . Telkom this can not be right, this is ****************. So those of you out there intending to take out a Telkom contract be warned of their ********* way of doing business. To phone any human being on telkoms support phone lines is virtually impossible. There emails goes unanswered, thus my unresolved query. Secondly debit orders is another point of contention. On the 4th December 2020 decided to debit my bank account for my monthly payment ,there was no funds in the account ,now they are penalising me R202 FOR PENALTIES ,my instalment is only R70 ,what kind of a company is this ,that does that to their customers, they call it Telkom policy .My dispute with them is,my agreement with Telkom is to debit my bank account on the 5th of each month as my bank Account will only have funds in it from the 5th of each month. Telkoms reason for prematurely debit my bank account, was because the 5th December 2020 fell on a Saturday, thus the debit from my bank account on the 4thDecember 2020,thus the penalty charge of R202, does this make sense to any one.My question is why could Telkom not go for the debit on the Monday the 7th December 2020,if they were fair in there dealing with their customers. I refuse to pay the R202 and will only provide for the R70 monthly in my bank account and it will result Telkom penalising my account by R202 monthly from February 2021. Telkom is ridiculous ,they should be ashamed. I WILL NEVER TAKE OUT A CELLPHONE CONTRACT WITH THEM EVER AGAIN .Good luck to those who will be ending up like me.
