telkom robbing the elderly

absolutely pathetic experience again! Telkom stopped my parents phone line in February because the cables were ****** repeatedly. They were never informed of that they would never be replacing the cables and had no line for months. They have now been billed for about R2700 and told they have to pay even though telkom has cut their services. They are demanding immediate payment. My parents are over 70 and this is not acceptable.
