No Service - They just lie

I was contacted week ending 22 July by Marus employee number 9328 from mobile talk with a “special offer”. He informed me for R 208 p/month I could get 16 gig of data together with a Huawei tablet for a 2 year contract,

The 27 July 2016 I get the tablet find I have been given a Huawei tablet but with 2 sim cards,

The order documents state 1 sim card 500 meg data, 2nd sim card states smart Internet 500 MB + 5 GIG, this is way short of the 16 GIG promised to me last week.

So I called to find out what is going on, only to be told that not only was the 16 gig of data now 5 gig , but the 5 gig data is only applicable in wi-fi hot spot areas otherwise I must pay. So after being promised 16 gig of data I have received 1 gig of data on 2 sim cards. On the 28th I then state the this contact must be cancelled and the tablet collected from myself at no costs to me due to the ********** action of Marus and mobile talk.

On the 28th at 13:31 I am advised by Annelyn David that the device will be collected at contract has been cancelled

The devise eventually gets collected 4 August 2016 After requesting this to be done numerous times.

At this point I believe the contract to be cancelled as well.

End of August my account gets debited for this an amount of . R 348.06 not even close to the original contract so even though I have not used these sim cards someone clearly has, so on 1 September I ask my bank to reverse this debit as it is **********, and they do so.

I then take this up with Annelyn David and Kershan Pillay as it appears the contract was never cancelled,

They intern assure me the contract has been cancelled and I must contact Telkom,

I then speak to Telkom a Mandla Qepu who informs me the contract was never cancelled and Mobile talk need to do this.

I then approach Annelyn David and Kershan Pillay again who insist the contract is cancelled, but after numerous requests they still cannot provide adequate proof of such.

So in reality Mobile talk has contravened the consumer protection act, the credit act and has been totally ********** in their behaviour
