Mobile Talk, "unlimited internet", ****, Actions I took to stop the deal from going forward.

First off, thank you for all the previous people that reviewed this company that **** people. I saw the reviews the next day on hellopeter and was reading up on what happened to previous victims.

The action I took was as follow: - I phoned Mobile talk on 0 ********** 51 and pressed 1 to go to an existing order. - The agent requested my i.d. number and my name and surname. - He checked the system and confirmed that my order was sent to Telkom for approval. - I then ask what is included in the package. - He confirmed that it was a 5Gb sim for 24 months, including a cellphone and a router for a different amount.. (there were suppose to be an extra simcard with unlimited 150mbps,which was not their). - I ask him to please cancel the order because the person **** to me and said I will receive an extra simcard with unlimited internet. - he asked a bit about the "misunderstanding" with the sales agent. I gave him the name and staff number of the employee that did "the sale" with me (don't know if it was a legit name or not). - He,the customer support agent gave me an reference number and his name for if I need to call in again. - He said I should receive a cancellation sms.... - I asked if I have to pay any fee for cancellations. - He rep****: "no".

* I then phoned my bank ABSA through my banking app (great service from them!) * They said since we don't know the direct debit name yet, I should contact them when it was debited and they will reverse the transfer and permanently block them from doing that again. * They confirmed that the reversal must be done within 30days in order to be able to reverse it.

I will see at the end of the month if they try to still debit from my account, but then I will have the advantage of knowing the identity of their account (or the random **** account that this ********-sales agent is using) and will be able to block it from future "events".
