Mobile Talk: Lying from the off set / Misrepresent

I received a call from an agent at Mobile Talk (who I was led to believe was a Telkom Mobile representative) offering me new devices for my account upgrade. This was on the 8th Oct. I received the devices on the 12th via courier and to date am unable to activate either of the sims. I called Telkom Mobile, then got transferred to a different 3rd party company & then finally transferred to Mobile Talk. That alone raised red flags & I will be cancelling this contract immediately.
If Telkom Mobile is my contract supplier, why aren't they sorting out my connectivity issues? Why am I transferred to 3rd party's? Why are the 3rd party's misrepresenting themselves as Telkom Mobile? Why do I have 2 new sim cards which within the 1st 72 hours of receiving it cannot even be activated?

Stay away people. Put stop orders on your accounts then wait for them to call when they don't get their money, including Telkom Mobile.
Send whatever you received back immediately.
