********** TELKOM CONTRACTS -MOBILE TAL****

i Sept 2018 I received a call from Mobile Talk, claiming to be part of Telkom Mobile, and offering me an unbelievable UNLIMITED data deal. After spending an hour with the agent over two phones calls that day, I clarified the offer and accepted it because it was a no brainer!

After closing the deal, the customer service consultant gave me all his details and assured my my order was on its way. within a few short days my order arrived. i activated the devices and began using it. two days later, the device runs out of data. I called telkom, who confirmed the deal was definitely not uncapped, as sold to me by MObile talk. I then phoned MOBILE TALK, an investigation was done and they assured me that i would not be liable for any costs. the device was collected by their couriers and i received a call confirming the order was cancelled. The consultant cancelled the deal and said I am not liable for any fees or payments of any kind.

On 1 Oct, I saw that they deducted R688 from my bank account, which was not even supposed to be the debit order amount if I still went through with the deal!!!! I am SO FURIOUS and DEMAND that they IMMEDIATELY REFUND MY MONEY! I am reporting Mobile Talk as: 1. They duped me into believing I'm getting unlimited data along with many other things when selling the contract to me 2. They did not cancel my order and 3. They deducted money from my bank account. lastly, telkom is now threatening my credit record due to outstanding amount due, of which in fact i have no contract with Telkom.

I DEMAND THAT I RECEIVE WRITTEN CANCELLATION OF THIS ********** POLICY SOLD ON BEHALF OF TELKOM AND MOBILE TALK DELETES THE DEBIT ORDER AND ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!!!
