Received a call from Mobile Talks today, asked the consultant whose name is Ugesh to call me back in a few minutes. Consultant called back and we spoke for a few hours. He confirmed that he had an offer for me as I was an existing Telkom client. Ugesh stated that they were offering uncapped telkom data for R208 monthly. We spoke for a few minutes and concluded the contract on the phone. I called Telkom to find out if they do indeed have that kind of contract and the lady confirmed that they DO NOT have such a package available. I attempted to get hold of mobile talks and got through to a lady by the name of Claudine who was unhelpful. She stated that she could not give me the number to the sales department and I asked her to cancel the contract.

I asked her to send a confirmation of the cancellation by email and she claimed that they do not have email facilities in their office, astounding!! She later hung up the phone when I starting asking questions. I called back and got through a different guy, I didnt get his name as I needed this to be sorted out urgently. He also hung up. The third time I got through to another gentleman who was also unhelpful, at this point I was fuming because 2 call center consultants had hung up on me, asked this guy if the device had been cancelled and he claimed that he would process the cancellation. Im firstly shocked at the lack of service I experienced and how this company can be selling ********** contracts to the public.

I'm terribly disappointed at this kind of service.
