False selling

I agreed to a contract with Telkom, but was told the phone I am getting is one of the latest, which is a Y5. I never recieve notifications on whether data minutes and sms have been loaded once i have been debited. The phone has had issues where from day one till to date but I have not been successful with getting hold of anyone through customer service or anyone in that matter. Now I am stuck with an old, not properly operating phone.
