Unfair business practice
I made a purchase from Pick 'n Pay using the Mobicred Wii code to pay on the 26th of July , and I was told that the transaction was declined though no receipt was produced. I then left the store without the purchase as no messages came through my phone informing me that the funds had gone through. Lo and behold the next day I received both an sms and an email informing me the transaction was successful and I went back to Pick 'n Pay to query the purchase. They refused to produce their sales ledger which reflected that my payment went through insisting that it was declined, though I had proof from my account and the notifications. I then called Mobicred who promised to investigate. After a series of calls from me they eventually agreed to reverse the funds back to my account which would take 14 working days. I called after the 15th day and I was informed that there had been an error with my refund and it had been sent back for processing and I would need to wait another 14 days. In the interim I have had to incur interest on the funds which I did not use or have access to.
The TCF policy really sucks.......I am still waiting for my refund to this day, it is now day 18 and counting.

What else must I do for this reversal to take place???? Perhaps speak to the NCR????
SECTIONS of the National Credit ACT quoted below:
Section 101(1)(b): This section stipulates that a credit provider is only allowed to charge interest as agreed in the credit agreement. If a credit provider makes an error in processing or calculating interest, they are responsible for rectifying the mistake and should not penalize the consumer with additional charges or incorrect interest rates.
Section 127: This section covers the procedures for resolving disputes and complaints. It implies that if a credit provider’s error leads to unfair charges, the consumer has the right to seek correction and compensation.
