Terrible customer service

My account was approved and became active on 3 August. I downloaded their App as advised and all seems in order. However, when trying to make a purchase on Takealot, their system says that my account has not been verified yet and that I should contact customer service. After countless attempts to get hold of anyone who can assist; from Messenger, their WhatsApp number, emails and phone calls I still have no answer to how much longer this verification process takes. I am beyond frustrated with their (lack of) customer service. No response via email or WhatsApp. The person who tried to assist on Messenger just kept “escalating” my request but also stopped answering my messages. Don’t even try phone them. The latest attempt lasted 25 minutes and no one answered.
