Settled Account Still Being Invoiced – Unfair Treatment

I settled my Mobicred account through their collections partner in December and received formal confirmation of payment. I was assured by multiple agents that the account would be closed and that a paid-up letter would be issued to update my credit bureau profile. Despite this, I continue to receive invoices demanding payment on an account that has already been settled.

I have repeatedly requested the paid-up letter, and the collections partner confirmed they would obtain it from Mobicred, yet to date nothing has been provided. This ongoing invoicing after settlement is unacceptable, misleading, and damaging to my credit record.

I demand immediate action:

Issuance of the paid-up letter

Confirmation that my credit bureau profile is updated

Cessation of further invoices or collection attempts

This experience has been extremely frustrating and feels like harassment. I am prepared to escalate this matter to the Credit Ombud and National Credit Regulator if Mobicred does not resolve it urgently.
