Not reporting accounts to credit bureau

In May 2024 i opened a Mobicred account and on several occasions i have contacted them via mail telephonically and via their website asking why my account is not being reported to the credit bureaus just to get no response from them. And now i am even wondering if they do end up reporting the account to the credit bureau are they even going to ever update the payment behaviour on it

Good day if you do go read up on 90% off all the reviews this is the response you give i got this account to try and build up my credit profile just for you to give one sided responses and not list the account with any credit bureaus yet i did receive a email as follow
Dear Mr D Heystek, Thank you for your enquiry. Please be advised Mobicred does report to the credit bureau. Should you have any further queries contact us via email at ***, call *** or WhatsApp ***.   Kind Regards,  Mobicred Customer Service
Why not then give proof that it has been listed with the credit bureau? Because i have monthly reports from all 4 the credit bureaus to proof that is has not been reported

Good day

After doing some reading and finding clients reviews on other sites it seems to me that it is with multiple people this has happened to over the last 2 plus years and this even though your terms and conditions does state you do use and report to the 4 credit bureaus in South Africa.

Just for everyone to see the below is the private response from mobicred :
Good day,

Thank you for tking my call, we are still working on resolving your request and will provide you with feedback as soon as possible.

Kind regards,

During the phone call it was mentioned to me that they have technical difficulties and trying to sort this out.
Do for how long has this difficulties been going on?
Wish i could post screenshots of all the other peoples reviews with the same issue.
Well it is clear that the only reason Mobicred responds is to try and keep the clients quiet i have never experienced incompetence like this and i will warn people on every platform i possibly because what is the point to having a account that does nothing for you!

Just a warning do not open a Mobicred account they do not report to the credit bureau although their terms and conditions says they do use the credit bureau they do not!!!When i opened my account in May 2024 i was told it will take 3 months to show on my credit profile but it did not and now in October 2024 they say it will take 12 weeks (3 months) more to reflect on my credit profile so after 6 months nothing and now a response with another 12 weeks. They are *****ulent in that form as far as i read on not only my own experience but the experience of others. So that account fee you pay for them to manage the account does not go towards the management of the account it goes right in their pockets.
If a consumer account does not reflect on their credit profile it does not do any good for the consumer as it is not recorded by the credit bureau. Mobicred uses the excuse of a technical difficulties when you ask them why the account is not being reported to the credit bureau and extends the time frame with 12 weeks the whole time just to get the client to keep quiet for 12 more weeks. The last update i got was just that they are still working to resolve the query so its literally all thats being said to just keep me quiet. They charge a monthly account service fee of R65 to manage the account but that money goes straight to their pockets because this is clearly a sign that they do not manage the accounts.

If Mobicred cant come forward with a actual viable solution the last resort i have would be to go to the National Financial Ombud Scheme
