No debit orders and no statements

My debit orders have not been going off for months on end even after I have lodged a complaint thereof. I now pay via EFT but do not receive any statements. I presume that legal action will be taken VERY fast once I miss payments but HOW do I know that previous payments are deducted from my account and what amount is due? Terrible service.
