Mobicred = *******

If I would could give -5 starts I would happily do so!

On 25/02/2021 I made my last purchase on this 12 month account with a closing balance of R3127.

Today 10/05/2023 I still owe R620.14. What I realised is they are debiting my bank account with a debit order set up by THEM for R37. But they charge an admin fee of R57. Which means they are debiting me for less than I owe them. So every month I pay R37 and owe them R20 on top of that.

Now my question is, how many people sit with this. How much money is this company actually making. I’ve been paying for the past 2 years and still owe them money…

If this is not daylight ******* I don’t know what is… a so called “supervisor” should phone me real quick… even though it’s probably not going to happen as I read some of the other reviews. @mobicred, you are pathetic I tell you!

So I got a call.

I got confused with the R37. The R37 is what gets paid to what I owe after R100 gets debited and R57 admin fee and interest gets deducted. So I’ve been paying R3127 off for 26 months, and need to pay for another 14 months of R100 per month to get my account to R0. Daylight *******…

With 14 months left to pay off R520, I will pay R1400 in total where R798 of that is admin fees and R82 is interest. These people are corporate ******* I tell you.

Stay as far away from this company as you can!

Hi Kyle A,

It was a pleasure speaking with you earlier, and I am pleased to have been of assistance in providing you with clarity on your inquiry. I do apologize for any inconvenience caused by our previous response and understand that you are still seeking further clarification.

Allow me to explain that Mobicred is a revolving credit facility, which means that it is not a fixed contract. As previously advised, you have the option to pay off the outstanding balance at any time, which will bring the account balance to zero.

Once the account balance is at zero, we do not charge any monthly administrative fees or interest. You can find the necessary banking details for your account on the account statement that we send out each month, which outlines all the charges incurred.

I hope this explanation clarifies any uncer*****ies you may have had, and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Mobicred
