Do you want me as your customer or not???

Mobicred is one company that will make it extremely frustrating and difficult to make use of their services. Its almost like they don't actually want your money or for you to be a customer.

First issue: For years I have not been able to get an OTP sms when making a purchase, i gave alternative numbers and the issue has persisted. The feedback I get is that it is all three (MTN, Vodacom, Telkom) that block my numbers from getting OTPs, highly unlikely and it seems Mobicred either doesn't have the expertise or doesn't care for customer experience.

Second issue: I changed my bank account last year Oct. I called in to update my debit order details in January and was told the account must be over 3 months old (It was when I called but anyway) Till today mid June I still cant update the bank account. I have to make manual payments every month, they then try to debit the old account, they fail and they lock my account and say I missed a payment even though my account is up to date. I have sent screenshots of the error and no one there cares to fix anything.

To purchase, I must make sure I have 15 minutes to be on a call with them to get OTP via email. Why not just make this an option if you cant get SMS to work for everyone?

To honour my payments, I must manually make arrangements because they dont care to update my banking details.

All of this gives so much friction on what should be a very simple customer/business relationship.

Do you want me as your customer or not, or as long as I have a balance with you, you couldn't care less?
