Disappointing Experience with Mobicred and Takealot Credit

I would not recommend applying for credit through Mobicred or Takealot Credit based on my experience with the application process and subsequent follow-up. The online application forms were difficult to navigate and slow to respond, which made the process unnecessarily time-consuming. After completing the application, I was asked to verify my bank account by uploading my bank statements. Although I followed the instructions carefully, it took two full days to receive a response. I was then required to take a selfie using verification software that did not appear to function properly. Despite repeated attempts and following the instructions, the application repeatedly rejected my photo. More than a week later, I began receiving four to five phone calls per day while I was at work and unable to take personal calls. This level of follow-up felt excessive and intrusive, particularly given the difficulties I had already experienced during the application process. Overall, the experience was frustrating, inefficient, and unprofessional. Based on this, I would be reluctant to continue dealing with either service.
