Cannot reinstate account after inactivity

I paid the full amount of my outstanding balance last year and because my account has been inactive my account was set as Closed-Dormant, meaning that my account has been closed due to inactivity and I cannot be reinstated or reapply again. To be this is ridiculous, because I now need to buy something that I use daily and I cannot pay the total amount at that shop (almost R2000), so its easier to pay it off with Mobicred as I did in the past but now I cant because of my inactivity for a few months. They are going to loose a lot of customers this way, because as soon as you are inactive for a few months they close your account. Does that even make sense??!!
