Account closed but show's as active on credit report.

My account has been closed for almost 3 months but credit report hasn't been updated, account still shows as active. Tried to contact them regarding the issue but got no answer, sent an email but got an automated response saying query has been escalated. No contact from them since then. Experience was good but closing the account is a mission, still waiting for response regarding properly closing my account.
