Mozambik Camps Bay

I was truly disgusted to find out that Mozambik Camps Bay that recently opened not even a year open are withholding staff's salaries. Regardless of whatever issues you have with your staff, by law they should be paid what is due to them. They don't issue out payslips and when they do they receive it a week or two after getting paid. Majority of the people working there complain about salaries being short and the HR seems to just ignore it. This is in Camps Bay as most of us know is a well known tourists attraction on its own and this is the way they treat their employees. It's really disappointing to know this is what is happening in the hospitality industry honestly really bad. I'm posting this because I feel bad for these people who have families they must take care of and the economy is already so bad. You see they try to put on good faces at work but you sit and listen when they talk among each other, I feel so heart broken. The franchise Mozambik is such a great restaurant. I've noticed so many new faces, the staff turnover is clearly high, I live in camps bay and I've seen the surf shop before and I was walking pass the shop when they were busy renovating. I've been coming in here so many times it was considered my local spot but every month there's new faces at the door and new managers it's just insane. When you hear the staff talking about these things it breaks your heart, I didn't want to say anything to the manager in store just incase those employees would get in trouble. It's just bad. PAY YOUR STAFF!! GIVE THEIR PAYSLIPS.
