HORRIBLE VALENTINES DAY DINNER

So hubby and I decided to do something different this year for Valentines Day and dine at Mozambik Restaurant (Eden on the Bay). We called to make a reservation and was told they are no longer taking bookings, we should just pop through. All excited, we got there around 19:30 and was seated immediately - Off to a good start, we thought! Here's where it all started...

Ordered drinks of which my husbands came quite quickly.. he had already placed a 2nd order for drinks and only then had my 1st drink arrived and this was before they had forgotten about my daughters drink. It was Valentines Day after all and they were quite packed, so we never complained and left it. Our waitress was nowhere to be seen all night, until we finally found her and asked if we may order some eats. We ordered 2 starters, 1 main and a kiddies meal - an hour had passed and only the kiddies meal arrived of which was cold. We follow up on our meals and they say they are currently busy with it. 20min later, the table next to our are served with mains (they had arrived 30min after we did) - At this point, we are already waiting almost 2hrs for food and are very irritated. I understand it was Valentines Day and they were quite busy, but to wait this long for starters is ridiculous! We then went to the manager and said we were leaving and that we would pay for what we had received - Manager took my details and said he'd be in touch and truly apologized. As we were leaving, one of the starters (snails) and my main arrived, the other starter had still not come. We gathered our goodies and left - HORRIBLE VALENTINES DAY DINNER EVER!
