FRESH FRESH FISH - THINK MOZAMBIK

FRESH SEAFOOD is always so good, rather than previously frozen. For my birthday yesterday, my husband took me to MOZAMBIK restaurant, at Eden on the Bay In BLOUBERG STRAND . We shared a platter for 2, which was a lovely large, thick piece of Hake, 4 juicy large Prawns, Squid heads, Calamari grilled in lemon, butter and garlic sauce, with chips to die for - all for R295.00. The location is stunning above Big Bay Beach, with views across Table Bay, of 2 World Heritage sites - the iconic Table Mountain and Robben Island. The weather was lovely with a slight breeze from the South West. the staff were friendly and the drinks were reasonable. I had a small jug of Sangria for R55.00, It was really a wonderful afternoon relaxing on their outside patio with our food and drink and no moving us along once the food was eaten. The menu was Portuguese, so much more than just Fish. I highly recommend this venue for FRESH FRESH FISH, nice views and good atmosphere all round. CAPE TOWN AT ITS BEST.
