WRONGFUL LISTING IN CREDIT BUREAU BY MIXTELEMATICS

Mixtelematics are big ****mers. I subscribed with them in 2023 and after installation of their tracking devices I received my welcome pack on 9 October 2023 but I had already decided not to use them anymore because of the faulty installation of one of the tracking devices. So I sent them a cancelation request email on the same day of receiving the welcome pack. It was supposed to be a free cancelation as I had canceled before 7 days. I received their confirmation that they had received my cancelation request but the never canceled my contract. And the worst thing is that when I first signed up they told me that it was a month to month subscription and not a contract. After a while they started calling me saying I must pay the monthly installments and my account is in arrears. Later they handed my account over to MBD Inc for debt collection. After being contacted by MBD I explained the situation of the matter to them and provided them with evidence that I had been trying to cancel my subscription from day 1. That's when MBD investigated the matter and then stopped the debt collection against me. Now I found out that Mixtelematics has listed me in the credit bureau as a bad debtor. Meaning they still don't want to process my cancellation even when they know they are the ones in the wrong. And contacting them is a serious hassle. You never find the right person to deal with your case.
