Unsavoury tactics used by beame telematix

Good day,

Just received a call(9 March 2020 at 1pm) from Anne at Beame ***, stating that they want to offer me free benefits, upgrade my tracking unit and it will not cost me anything extra, also stating that my premium will not increase and will remain at R100. I informed her that this was not correct and referred to my bank statement which reflected that I pay R74.31 and advised that this would amount to a whoppng 33% increase. This is completely unsavoury on the side of beame, by trying to con customers that their new benefits would be free, when in fact customers would be paying substantially more. It seems to me that beame has cottoned on to the fact that other tracking companies are charging about R100 pm and now feel that they are being short changed and the way to illegitimately increase their revenue would be to offer these "free benefits" and pressurise customers into signing up. Fortunately I remember what I am paying per month. What about the unsuspecting customers. I hope that customers will be informed of this.
