Tracking or *********ing

We went over to a new insurance company that insisted all our vehicles must be fitted with a mix telematics device. They made the all the arrangements and we just had to fit the devices, the fees we paid to Telematics would be subtracted from the monthly insurance premium. When we moved insurance companies and wanted to cancel they informed us that we had a 2-year contract and I figured that it is not a bad thing keeping the tracking device. One month later we sold one of the vehicles and tried to cancel the tracking since the vehicle was sold. Again, they refused, saying we are locked into a two-year agreement. Now almost another year later we have sold the other vehicle and guess what. We are still locked into our contract and now I am paying for tracking on two vehicles that I don’t own. How is that even legal, never mind moral?
