They are refusing to cancel

I requested a cancellation as my 36 months ended in August 2024 and specifically told them the next debit order would be the last. I was paying in advance of which their retentions consultant Thabang Motshwene(retentions consultant) even confirmed. He apologized saying that he understands my frustration as his colleagues don't do their work. He assured me he was going to sort it out and gave me his details should I get any debits so that he escalates it and have this account closed and cancelled. I received a message saying my account has been handed over. This will affect my credit and that means will ruin my career . I have emailed the ombudsman who seems to not exist. I really URGE ANYONE LOOKING FOR A TRACKING DEVICE NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY. The reviews are a testimony that they never want to cancel but meanwhile provide a terrible service. I will not pay for a service I terminated and the cancellations department decided to ignore my request. The same Thabang saw the email also. Can their legal department please help them by explaining what a month to month contract is.
