Poor service and they never respond to queries

When I signed up for the tracking unit in September, the sales agent assured me that I can cancel anytime without any obligation for a cancellation fee. I never received any documents from mixtelematics.

In December I wanted to sell my car and I informed mixtelematics of my intentions and request to cancel and they only respended a month latter after several attempts to contact them. During this period I was given reference numbers as confirmation that my queries were being attended to which was not the case. When they responded after a month they told me that I have to pay a settlement fee to cancel which was not what I signed up for and I demanded the recording to confirm that. I was told they will call me back every time I called.

Now I am being harassed by their debt collectors demanding double the amount of the invoice they first sent me. It’s not the first time I post here and someone called to say they are handling this, instead I get another letter of demand from their debt collectors. I am not prepared to pay anything I didn’t commit to and if they insist I did in fact committed to it, they should provide proof that I did.

Dealing with this company is a headache. I regret ever taking this device. I would never recommend it to anyone.
