MIX TELEMATICS - WAY PAST SHOCKING

We purchased a second hand vehicle from Imperial Toyota Strijdompark during June 2014.

Imperial also very kindly obtained a quotation for insurance from Taylor-Made Solutions, whom, as usual, insisted that the vehicle be fitted with a tracking device and of course, the Imperial salesperson suggested Mix Telematics Africa.

The unit was installed at Imperial's premises and we only received a small brochure detailing the wonderfull service of Mix Telematics.

During November 2017 the vehicle was sold. We instructed Mix Telematics to cancel this service and immediately received an automatic reply with a "Case Number" on the email address found on their web site. (There is no clear indication of what to do if you want to cancel)

It is now 6 months later and we are still paying for the service via debit order, even after asking the bank to reverse these amounts for the last couple of months.

Numerous further e-mails has been sent and numerous new automatic "Case Numbers" were received, but still no contact from Mix Telematics.

To date, we have only received an sms's from Mix Telematics to inform us that our account is in arrears! Also that the arrear amount must be paid into their bank account and that proof of payment must be sent to ********** .

We again sent our cancellation letter to this address, which was returned undelivered.

What kind of operation are you running Mix Telematics? Do you have an overseas principle who we can report this DARK AFRICA OPERATION to?

How can large companies like Imperial get into bed with a two-bit operation like this?

We have instructed our bank to stop all future debit orders and to recover any monies deducted from our account from 1 Jan 2018.

We look forward to seeing Mix Telematics sorting out this mess!
