MiX Telematics - If this is how poor the admin is, heaven help you if your actually NEED the service!

The only reason that the review warrants two stars is that generally the technology appears to work...aside from an unresolved issue with our MD arming and disarming their vehicle from the App.

On the Admin side, this company is right down there with Vodacom, Telkom and perhaps even the Ekurhuleni Municipality.

We were instructed by our insurance company to change the tracking units on our vehicles to a new spec. Mix Telematics, whom we were already using was listed as one of the preferred vendors.

Installation was done, relatively hassle-free but no advice was imparted that we were undertaking new 3 year contracts and it is not the company's intent to keep the same number of vehicles for the three year period.

To cut a loooooooooooooooong story short:

Departments are unable to liase internally.

The only attention we were able to obtain came from withholding payment until the matter received attention.

Even then, grace was given and the account was paid to cover December 2023 where it was expected that Evelyn Pillay who keep her commitment to revert with resolution.

Nothing further so January and now February advance payments have been withheld and the threats from the otherwise non-communicative "midcollections" department start again.

We do not get anywhere with Neo Magopa (or his alter-ego resulting from a seemingly split personality disorder - "the other Neo")

We have requested escalation several times, both telephonically and by copious emails. When we request contact details of Executives via reception, the call gets referred to the usual voice menu and eventually gets cut whilst holding for an operator.

I have noted that Mix Telematics appears to enjoy a very bad reputation on this platform but also see they do seem to be responded to, so before we engage consumer journalist, Wendy Knowler, let's see how far this may get.

We are and have been willing to pay but the contract / service issues must be resolved first, despite threats by yourselves to hand over when seemingly we are the only party interested in resolution!!
