Mix Telematics are *****ing your money!!

I purchased a BMW motorcycle and was offered a tracking device from Beama (MixTelematix). I had no issue with the device until it was time to sell the bike and cancel my contract.

Last year July i sold the bike and gave notice to them that the bike was sold and that the tracker must be cancelled immediately. A few months went by and while checking my statement noticed several deductions made for the tracking device.

I contacted them and told them that i cancelled. They said that i had to pay cancellation fee. This is where it became very aggravating and the overall experience & service from them was ****!

The cancellation fee was R199.00. I had paid several months of installments after i cancelled the contract and said they actually owed me money not the other way round. I had paid over R420 in installments since i informed them of cancellation, which means they owed me R220 after the deduction of cancellation fee.

This is apparently not correct ( in their eyes) so I put a stop on their debit order and they sent my account to their legal team.

How is this legal? Continue to take my money for a product that is not being used? Then afterwards bill me again for cancelling it? Then say that i am at fault?

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE AND WILL ACTIVELY BAD MOUTH THIS COMPANY TO MY FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES IN THE MOTOR INDUSTRY.

Absolutely ridiculous!!!
