Matrix/Beame Tracking System - Horrible Customer Service (Cancellation Process)
Joined in 2022 when I bought my vehicle. My 36-month tracking contract ended in Nov last year, and I understood it had continued month-to-month. Today I called to cancel and was told I’m suddenly on a new 36-month contract with a R900+ cancellation fee. The consultant first confirmed it was month-to-month, then changed the story when I requested the cancellation documents. How was this new contract agreed to without my knowledge or consent? Very disappointing lack of transparency.

15 Sept 2026, 16:57On 27 August, I received confirmation that my policy had been cancelled with immediate effect. However, on 2 September, I received an email requesting payment. I subsequently contacted the Debtors Department to clarify the matter, but to date, I have not received any response.
Today, I received an SMS stating that my account is in arrears, despite the policy having been cancelled with immediate effect.
Please clarify why I am being required to make payment for a period during which the policy was no longer active and no service was rendered. I would also appreciate an updated statement confirming the cancellation date and the basis for any amount currently reflected as outstanding on my account.
I request that this matter be investigated and resolved as soon as possible, and that any incorrect arrears or payment demands be removed from my account.
