Matrix is a tracking company and not a recovery company!!! if your car is ****** dont expect it to be recovered.

My Ford Ranger 3.2 double cab was ****** on Sunday morning 17 September 2023 at 11:39. I pressed the panic button and no response, I called the emergency number at 11:50 and explained the situation, I was put through to recoveries, I explained that the car was ****** and after many questions I got upset and told them they should know me because I have been with them since 2013. The guy said " where did that come from" and put down the phone. I tried many times to get through and every time I got through, they put the phone down. When i eventually managed to talk to the recoveries department they had found the tracker unit in Linbro Park. They said that they could do no more as they had recovered the tracker unit. I called back at around 9pm on Sunday evening and I was informed that the case was closed as they had recovered the tracker. They are a tracking company and NOT A RECOVERY COMPANY, Seriously!!!! They track their tracking units but when it is found they can do no more. The onus now lays on the SAPS to investigate and recover the vehicle. I am Shocked and amazed that these details are not highlighted when you are signed up.
