Matrix beame ignoring cancellation emails and debiting for a car that was written off in April

I have a tracker contract with matrix beame. My car was written off in April 2020. I called on the fourth of May 2020 to cancel my contract as I no longer own a car. I was told to email *** to let them know about this. I sent the email and I never received a response until today 30May 2020.

Now I receive a statement for a debit order that will go off on the 1st of June 2020. The funny thing is that the premium to be debited on the 1st is double what was normally debited for the past months. How logical is this ? Was my email for cancellation ignored because matrix beame wants to keep debiting me ? This is not fair and I swear on my mom that when I purchase another car soon, I’m never taking it to matrix beame. Even if matrix beame tracker comes with the car on purchase, I’m never signing a contract again to have a tracker with matrix beame.

I have never heard of such poor service. My email about cancellation gets mized but the same company doesn’t forget to send a statement
