Matix taking January's debit order after making alternative areangements

On the 4th of dec i received a message from matrix about the dejanuary debit order which they will take off on the 20th of dec but if you want to make alternative arrangements you must please contact them which i did on the 4th but realised it was already after 5pm to be exact i made the call 6min past 5. So i phoned them the 5th of dec ang my call was answered at 9:34 that morning and the call lasted 2min and 44 sec in which i explained that i do not get paid earlier in december so they must please do the debt order as normal. The gentleman i spoke to unfortunately can't remember his name said that my debit order date is the first of the month which is a public holiday so would it be ok to do it on the 31st which i agreed on. Now this morning 21 dec i received notification that my beame debit order for january went tbrough. I had a lousy R200 left in my bank account the only bit of money i have for xmas and now beame took R123 of that. Why do they send out messages and ask you to phone and make alternative arrangement for your january debit order if you can not commit to their date the 20th of dec if they still just go ahead and take the money when they fell like it. They have not been given permission to take the money on the 20th of dec and i waisted my time phone to make alternative arrangements as i do not get paid earlier in dec and never have. And not once have my debit order ever not go through due to insufficient fund on the date i arrange and agreed on when making the alternative arrangement. Its really time that companies must start realizing that its not everyone who gets paid early in dec and i would have thought that that is the whole point of the exercise sending messages to say they taking your debit order at such and such date but if you cannot commit to that date to phone and make alternative arrangements and then one do so and it gets ignored. I am very unhappy with this service one receives form matrix who basically now " stole" the little bit of xmas i did have by taking my debit order the 20th after i have made arrangements with them for the end of the month😭
