Is Car Tracking through Beame/Matrix still relevant?

What's with the WhatsApp number whigj the Matrix App prompts clients to use? I mean what's the point of its existence? You send a HI as requested to *** & nothing happens. Zilch. Zero Nada. L o r d help me please if I ever need to track a vehicle because at the moment I hve zero confidence in the Beame product. ZERO!!! I'm not even able to test my location via my own app on my phone! I'm considering in buying a really good quality immobilizer & gear lock & leaving it at that
