I will rather not install a Mix Telematix product in my vehcle.

My insurer phoned me and informed me that we need to install Mix Telematix (Beame) into my vehicle as it needs 2 different tracking units. A call center called me on behalf of Mix to arrange the installation. A conference call was logged, and I contacted the installer to arrange for the installation time and date. All went very well up to this stage. The installation would take place on that specific day at 15:00. I then received an SMS at 14:41 from Mix, stating that I missed my appointment and that I must call a Durban number to arrange a new installation date and time. I phoned as the appointment was only scheduled for 15:00 and still needs to take place, but I was not able to get any response from this number. It either just ringed without being answered or I was told that the number is not available on the network. I then decided to call Mix as this was a very bad start for a new relationship. I dialed their number and listened to the options. I chose “Customer support” as I thought that they would be able to assist with my problem. NO ANSWER. I tried again as I thought I had a bad line. AGAIN, NO ANSWER. After the third failed attempt to get hold of customer support, I decided to try the “Sales” option. NO ANSWER. I tried Sales twice without any luck. So, I decided to put Mix to the test and took option 1, which was the option to choose should your vehicle be hi-jacked or stollen and you guessed it… NO ANSWER. I will rather go with one of the other service providers and will skip Mix. If one needs to go through this just to install the system, what will happen if I have an emergency?
