********** account opened with my details

I would like you to assist me with getting answers from this company someone opened an account with them using my ID number now that person is in arrears i m getting calls from lawyers demanding money from me, i told them both cars covered i don't know of nor ever owned for that matter. i was told by the attorneys to contact Mix Telematics to enquire as i m not aware of this account i make contact around Jan this year and was told they will get the call recording when the account was opened till this day nothing has happened i have been calling them will hold for almost 20 minutes and the phone gets hang up when i was promised i will be transferred to relevant team to assist. This is ruining my credit record.... How on earth do you open an account with someone's details without their consent???? The company is commit ***** !!!!! I asked for reference number first time i called and was told they don't have such how do they track clients communications???? This is really annoying and disappointing honestly.... level of service is extremely poor.
