FALSIFIED ACCOUNT

I took a Mix Telematics/Matrix car three-year tracker contract in 2016. They served me very well. The contract ended in 2018, but they continued to deduct premiums from my bank account. I wrote them an email informing them that I cannot afford the premiums any more. The contract lapsed, anyway. To my surprise, they did not respond to my email and consequent ones, but continued deducting premiums from my bank account. The bank also failed me, claiming they could not stop the unauthorized transactions. I asked them (Matrix) to provide proof of a renewed contract, but they never responded to my emailed correspondence. They threatened me with enlisting my name at the credit bureau. They recently (for a year or so) submitted my name to their attorneys, and they are the ones that are engaging me at the time of writing this review. Their instrument is still in my car, and it is having a toll on the battery. I have not used the car for more than a year now, except for local errands. I have lodged my complaint with the Motor Industry Ombudsman Of South Africa (MIOSA), way back in November 2021. They acknowledged receipt of my email, and that was it. I humbly implore Hellopeter to ask Matrix to provide proof of my contract with them, failing which they must return all my money. They must remove their tracker from my car and close the falsified account. It is very stressing and depressing to have a company of Matrix’s nature in my personal space. I recommend no one to be their client.
