Don't upgrade Matrix units
Don't upgrade your Matrix system. I had 2 systems upgraded recently. For the one vehicle they forgot to cancel the old unit and I'm now being charged for 2 units on 1 vehicle. Spoke to accounts and they'll process a credit and arrange for the old unit to be cancelled. I've now received an e-mail "This letter serves to confirm that the following vehicle(s) have been terminated with immediate effect. We regret losing you as a customer and we would like to understand why our product/services did not meet your expectations.". I again phoned and was transferred to accounts who confirmed they requested a credit but can't assist with the cancellation. I held on for approx. 30 min to speak to cancellations. Matrix can't resolve this internally and I as the customer now needs to get hold of cancellations to resolve the query (Cancellations are simply unavailable). Accounts told me I can ignore the e-mail received but they are not prepared to let me have an e-mail confirming I should ignore the cancellation notification. Going into the long weekend I have no idea whether the contract has indeed been cancelled as per the e-mail or not as per accounts. I unfortunately don't have time to spend hours on the phone today. I sent an e-mail and received a case number ***4.
