Don't sign up to Matrix, they **** you into not being able to cancel

I signed up with Matrix tracking over the phone with one of their sales agents. I was never given a contract to sign or read through. Now 2 years later having sold the vehicle I am told I need to pay a R2000 cancellation fee to stop the R99 per month contract (which I don't have and didn't sign). I have called countless times without response, always being told I am being put through to the cancellations department then the line goes dead. I have emailed many times requesting to be supp**** with the contract bearing my signature where I accepted these terms and conditions. Currently this is a direct violation of the consumer protection act by attempting to charge me and threaten me with credit score penalties while refusing to supply the contract where these terms were agreed to. I have read countless other reviews where people are unable to cancel their matrix tracking service, it seems this is their standard operating procedure to lure and trap people in this service. Their tracking service is also useless with it many times showing the vehicle is still parked at home when it has already been driving around for 2 hours plus, lots of lag, very limited usability.

I still have still not received a contract bearing my Signature or any from of confirmation from Matrix that I had accepted their terms and conditions. All they sent me was a link to their terms and conditions page, my next step is to approach the small claims court or consumer protection ombudsman as it is completely ******* and ********* business practice to not provide a consumer terms and conditions then send it to them a year later.
