Does anyone actually work at Mix Telematics?
I thought I would add to the cacophony of bad reviews that MiX Telematics Africa already has. If I was their head of customer service I would hang my head and shame and resign.
I have had 2 tracking units on my cars for 9 years. Earlier this year I saw that one of my units were not working, so I logged a ticked requesting information on what I should be and where I should take it. ***3 was logged on the 30th of January. A month later I had no reply, no calls. So i send a cancellation request, which was never processed. I then stopped my debit orders realising that this was the only way to get anyones attention.
Two further tickets where generated ***6 and ***5
Then re-logged cancellations for the 2 cars ***1 and ***9, both marked as resolved
I then got a message that I would be listed with the credit bureau's for not setting my account.
I spoke to Nomsa Mbatha, and explained that I had logged cancellations that had been ignored and that I didnt think it was right to charge me for a service that did not work, even though I raised a support ticket about it a month earlier.
She spoke to get supervisor about the faulty unit and I am told that they will waive that month, but i would still need to pay for the second car. So I did that.
Not assuming I was sorted out.
A few weeks after that I get a SMS staying I owe R161 so I forward the mail to the credit control department and CC Nomsa Mbatha, with the history hoping this can be resolved, Ticket number - ***0
almost 3 weeks later no reply and I get another message saying that I owe them R161
This company will never see 1c of my money again, and I will never suggest it to anyone other than that they avoid the company.
looking at the other reviews it is astounding that a company like this can even keeps its doors open.
6 Ticket numbers since the 30th of January and you can get nothing done.
Is my only hope to pay the R161 that was agreed that I don't owe, to keep my credit record clean, that sounds an awful lot like *********.

Good day Mr. Labuschagne
As per our telephonic discussion, your account ***XX with the vehicle with the registration XX11XXGP will be credited with an amount of R161.86 as you had reported the unit not communicating during that period of February and was not repaired. We will be in contact to advise on the status of the credit in due course. We will try to speedy the process to lessen the communication about an unpaid amount.
Today I received this. As far as I am concerned this is now harassment.
