Complaint Regarding Assistance Received Following ****** Motorcycle

I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding the assistance I received after reporting my ****** motorcycle.

When I contacted Beame for assistance, I felt that the consultant I spoke to did not treat the matter with the urgency it required. I even requested that he speak directly to the driver, who had more information regarding the situation, but there appeared to be very little effort to assist.

The tracking company advised that they had met with the driver and identified a location where the motorcycle was allegedly situated in a township area after AfriSam. However, I was informed that they would not enter the area because it was considered dangerous and that a police officer had reportedly been shot there recently. I was further advised that no recovery team could be dispatched because I had not yet obtained a case number.

I explained that I had already contacted the police and provided all the necessary details, and that officers were in the process of coming to my home to open a case. Despite this, I was still told that assistance could not be provided.

I am struggling to understand the purpose of paying for a tracking and recovery service if assistance is refused when a vehicle is located in a high-risk area. Vehicle theft situations are often urgent and may involve dangerous locations. My concern is that if recovery services are unwilling to attend these areas, it raises serious questions about the effectiveness of the service being provided.

Furthermore, I am concerned about the lack of urgency displayed during this incident. As a paying customer who relies on this service for support during emergencies, I expected a more proactive response.

I would appreciate a full explanation regarding:

Why assistance was refused before a case number was available. What the standard recovery procedures are when a tracked vehicle is located in a high-risk area. What value the tracking and recovery service provides if recoveries cannot be attempted in such circumstances.
