Cancellation nightmare
Good day,
I have been a customer with mix telematics for over 5 years and as a tracker company their service is appalling considering the GBV and human trafficking stats in South Africa. Their device is meant to ensure that whenever my battery is removed from my car they receive an alarm alert and call me as their client to try and make sure that all is fine which they do not do.
Now that I want to cancel their service and didn’t make a payment because I sold my car, they sent an sms saying they received an alert that my device is being tempered with but because I haven’t paid the can assist me. If it’s not that then I am receiving final notices to pay otherwise they taking my account to the credit bureaus and surprisingly the amount owed has doubled.
I have been trying to make telephonic contact and their line just rings, I have a lot of reference numbers but to this date no one has reached out to me to assist me.
If you care about your safety then Mix Telematics is not the car tracking option for you.
The service is extremely poor and they don’t even deserve the one star I gave. 😏
