BEWARE MIX TELEMATICS RIPS CLIENTS OFF WITH REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF DEVICES IN OTHER VEHICLES EVEN IF YOUR CONTRACT CONTINUES!! AND DOESN'T RESPOND TO MAILS EITHER

I had a device in my old car. I sold the car and wanted to put the device in my new car.

Mix telematics was impossible to get hold of. Their phone just dropped every time you tried to call them. They did not answer any of my emails to schedule a new fitment.

Discovery doesn't charge to remove the tracking system from the old vehicle if you move it to a new vehicle. Mix made me pay R 800 to remove it.

They eventually put me in contact with a company that added a FIVE HUNDRED RAND fee to fit a new tracking system in the vehicle and added an extra THREE HUNDRED RAND to their quotation for a panic button I never requested. This is excluding their installation fee.

I cancelled their services after that. I have been waiting since the 13th of May 2022 for a response to my cancellation request when I sent proof of settlement. I copied about 5 different people in on the mail, including the cancellations department and they still haven't bothered to respond.

Their after sales service is absolutely shocking and they rip people off. I would never use them again. Tracker and Discovery are the companies to go with.
