Bad Service
MiX Telematics has a horrible Customer Service. I called on Mon 07/07/21 nad was holding for some 15mins where the voice message indicated "our agents are busy..." and eventually I opted for the 'presssome number to leave a message to call back'. I am still waiting for that call back. I called again yesterday (08/07) and the lady (not too friendly) informed me that my contract states that I must call once a month to verify all is good: 1. Since when is it up to the customer to to do the verification my tracker is good? (No matter what the contract says) IMO the service provider should be pro-active to provide good service and not rely on clients to do their work. After all we are paying for a service 2. The lady (not to friendly) logged a call with somebody or some dept to have my request investigated. I have not heard anything since 14:49 08/07/2021
This is not acceptable!
Thank you for taking my call.

I had a number of:
1. Call: Attempt to organize a time for the vehicle to be fitted with a working device. Agreed some time in week 14-18 June
2. SMS: "Thank you for your enquiry. Your case number is ***0 . Repair is scheduled on 30/6/2021 at Cape Coast Customs Mitchells Plain ***. The Beame team"
This is kinda contraditory
3. Email: "Dear Mr/Ms A D Vink, This email serves to confirm that your query with reference number : ***0 is resolved.
If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact our friendly Customer Care Team.
Kind Regards
MiX Telematics "
I don't believe the issue has been resolved!

As per our discussion the fitment centre can only assist when they have more work, if they come to you now than there would be a mobile fee they will charge.
Do let us know once you have thought about it on way forward.

This is not acceptable as you are taking my money but are not prepared to cover the vehicles.
How do I go about cancelling the contract.
Thanks in advance

It seems the trauma is carrying on. I personally sent 3 emails over a number of day for cancellation of my contract but no response. And yet another deduction for a non-existing service has been made. The Ref # in question are (numbers will be ****ed:
***4 "Zero Nine One Three Seven Nine Four Four"
***0 "Zero Nine One Eight Five Three Four Zero"
***8 "Zero Nine One Nine Nine Five One Eight"
Furthermore, I have received SMSs to inform me of rescheduling (case "Zero Nine Zero Six Eight One Nine Zero"):
"Your MiX Telematics case# ***0 has been re-scheduled for installation on 31/7/2021 at Cape Coast Customs Mitchells Plain *** Thank You"
Do you really expect me to take 3 vehicles one at a time to have the device installed. That is no less than 300km roundtrip...each. That would cost around R2000-R3000 just in petrol.
I'm sorry but that is not on.
